All praises be to Allah the almighty and most worthy of praise who gives all of us livelihood. And if we wish getting it a lot of, we should be cleverer to thank give it. Allah the almighty and most worthy of praise decrees:
Its meaning: "If you are grateful I will add more (favors) unto you; But if you show ingratitude, truly My punishment is terrible indeed" (QS. Ibrahim: 7)
Livelihood that was given by Allah the almighty and most worthy of praise to us is very much. And if we want to count it, undoubtedly we couldn't.
Only 5 livelihoods we should thank give them, they are:
1. Youth, namely a moment when somebody has strength physic and mental. Therefore, the youth should be used to worship toward Allah. Besides, old namely an moment when we should not be able to read Al-Qur'an anymore because sight has begun blurred, hasn't been able to listen to suggesstions, whereas sense of hearing has begun vague, hasn't been able to get up in the midnight in view of the fact that the body was attacked rheumatism disease. It's regretless when the old man muffed his youth.
2. Healthy or well-being, that is very valuable livelihood. We could not feel delicious food, in the even our body was not healthy. Accordingly well-being must be thanks given by reprocuding worships, inasmuch as in a certain moment we shall feel sickness and it's really regret ness of someone who can not use his healthy for provision physically and mentally to face his illness.
3. Rich time is livelihood and test at once from Allah the almighty and most worthy of praise. In case we could not use our wealth, surely we will fall into ravine Jahanam. Consequently, during we are still given wealth, let's execute the tithe, give it to the others and help Islam taking into consideration the fact that in a certain moment it will be taken by Allah the almighty moreover most worthy of praise hence we become poor again.
4. Free time is whilst we must cleverly use it. Minute by minute, clock by clock we content our free time by doing the advantage things. The job which we could finish now never be delayed, considering that there will be more important ones tomorrow.
5. Life time. A number of friends of ours have passed away. Likewise why do we live up to now? All of those are only the generosity from Allah to us. Therefore we must thanks give it by growing kindness charity. Accordingly it's not forever we live in the world besides in a certain moment will pass away otherwise face to the God.
About five livelihoods that have been mentioned above, prophet decreed:
"Keep five things before five others;
1. Your youth before your old time
2. Your healthy before your ill time
3. Your rich time before your poor time
4. Your free time before comes your busy time
5. Your alive time before passing away"
(HR. Hakim).
We could not live in this as though we want, not that life is not ours, but because Allah's Almighty and most worthy of praise. Living in the world has the certain purpose namely worship to Allah the Almighty and the most worthy of praise as His saying:
Its meaning: "I have only created Jinns and Men, that they may serve Me" (QS. Adz-Dzariyat: 56)
As Moslems more otherwise less we have known it. Since a lot of test furthermore test caused us to forget, in order that let's ensure ourselves to return that our main purpose living in the world is to worship to Allah -ths Almighty and Most Worthy of Praise-. How rich we don't ever forget the main purpose we live. Moreover on the contrary how poor we don't ever think that poverty has caused atheism. Allah SWT confirmed:
Its meaning: "And We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. To Us must you return" (QS. Al-Anbiya': 35)
From mentioned verses it's very clearly that overflow wealth is not only livelihood but also examination which will test our belief. Do we still want to carry out prayer and give our wealthy to the others? Do we become arrogant, so we forget Allah -the Almighty and Most Worthy of Praise- where the poverty is not punishment but test or examination for us, could we bear besides then carry out tenets of religion?
Religion has given a lot of instance regarding thanksgiving unto Allah likewise patient when getting tests. Even if we are tested to be plutocrat so do as Prophet Dawud and Prophet Sulaiman did. They kept on loyal to Allah although wealthy. Then when we are poor, do as Prophet Ayyub who kept on facing test patiently and never showed giving up to Allah the almighty and most worthy of praise.
May we be able to be patient to face life difficulties furthermore life examination in this world, aamiin.
